Post Drivers | Kinghitter Series 2i 450
The Kinghitter Series 2i 450 post driver is an extremely capable machine that makes rural fencing much faster, safer and easier. It’s fitted with a 4.5m mast, which allows for increased hammer speed and driving force, while also being capable of installing posts up to 12ft in length.
The incorporated hydraulic hinge allows the mast to hinge down within seconds to reduce its overall height for storage and transport. The Series 2i 450 also boasts best-in-class angle tilts of 25° in all directions.
The Series 2i 450 is compatible with the entire range of Kinghitter Base combinations and Accessory options to ensure you get a post driver package that works for all of your fencing requirements and suits your preferences.
The operator can stay in control 100% of the time, with Hammer Lift/Lower, Toplink, Angle Tilt, Mast Hinge and Base adjustments all at fingertip control, using Kinghitter’s ergonomic valve bank positioning system.
Fitted with Kinghitter’s Safety Post Cap, the operator has completely safe directional control of every post. Standard with the Active Safety System, this protects the operator from the strike zone of the hammer along its entire stroke to the ground. It also secures each post in an upright position while driving, allowing the operator to steer the post using the post driver controls positioned behind the safety gate.

Postcap Post Steering
Get an easier, safer post installation system with Kinghitter post drivers. Our unique post cap system provides precise post steering control, allowing you to position and drive posts with minimal manual effort — and no more podgy bars.
- Steer posts securely with the post cap.
- Adapt to timber, steel, and concrete posts with interchangeable caps.
- Reduce operator fatigue and boost efficiency.
You’ll also see the impact zone guard for safer post driving and the bolt-on shroud system for different post shapes.
As the post is driven into the ground, the top gets lower and the impact zone moves. Kinghitter’s guard mounts to the Safety Postcap and travels with the strike zone, protecting the operator over the hammer’s full stroke.

Auto Latch Auger Kit
The Auto-Latch Auger Kit is a powerful and user-friendly system featuring a hydraulic ram for downforce and auger extraction, along with an automatic latching mechanism for stability. Its 250cc hydraulic motor ensures fast and reliable operation, making it ideal for tough ground conditions like blue clay, hard pan, and sandstone. It's compatible with a range of anticlockwise augers and Dig/Rock Pilots for enhanced performance.
Rock Spike Kit
The Rockspike Kit is designed for rocky terrain, using a solid steel spike driven by the hammer to break through rocks and create pilot holes for posts. Its 8-tonne extractor ram easily removes the spike or old posts. The hydraulic positioning ram rotates the rock spike in and out of position via the valve bank controls. Rockspikes are available in two different sizes: 90mm & 130mm.
Rockspike Extractor / Auger Combo
The Rockspike Extractor/Auger Combo offers unmatched versatility, combining the rockspike extractor kit with interchangeable Rockspike and auger motor. The Auger is powered by a high-capacity 250cc hydraulic motor, which handles tough ground conditions like blue clay, hard pan, and sandstone with ease. It's compatible with a range of anticlockwise augers and Dig/Rock Pilots for enhanced performance.
Rockspike Extractor / Torque Drill Combo
The Kinghitter Torque Drill delivers unmatched auger torque with a planetary gear drive and high-capacity hydraulic motor, producing 2300NM of torque. Mounted on the Rockspike Extractor Kit for stability, it can be interchanged with a Rockspike, and is fitted with a hydraulic positioner, which pivots it in & out of position using a hydraulic ram. The setup includes anticlockwise hardened augers with hard-faced or tungsten rock pilots, available in a range of sizes.
