The Post Steering System
The all-new post steering system is built to handle timber, steel, and concrete posts up to 2.6 m (8.5 ft) in length. Heavy-duty interchangeable guide rings swap in and out quickly to suit different post types and sizes — so you can switch between jobs without slowing down.
Need to drive oversize posts that don't fit the guide rings? The entire post steering system removes without tools, giving you a clean, unobstructed setup in seconds. Whatever post type and size you are running, the Spitfire Type-R is built to handle it.

Easy Post Driver Control
As always, Kinghitter puts a premium on making the machines fast and easy to use. This all starts with the valve bank layout. It's fitted with a custom-built Italian hydraulic valve bank. It comes standard with a 5-bank valve, but this can be increased to 10+ valve functions depending on the base and accessories you pair this machine with. These valve functions are mounted horizontally, so you have easy access to the controls, and are also mounted on a pivoting stem so you can rotate the valve bank around to your desired work position.
The percussion cell is operated by 1 lever, thanks to the adjustable knob that lets you increase or decrease the amount of downforce that you have on the percussion cell.
Kinghitter’s 45+ years of post-driver manufacturing experience have been utilised in every aspect of the machine. Features like the adjustable nylon slides on the percussion cell mean the machine can be tightened up, even after years of use, increasing the machine's lifespan. Also, the ram shock absorbers mean less vibration from the percussion cell is transferred through to the rest of the machine. It’s the little things that add up to make a big difference.
