Like every machine in the Kinghitter range, the Series 1i 400 is built around logical, easy-to-use operation. At the heart of this hydraulic post rammer is a 4.0m hinged mast capable of reaching a post height of 3.1m (10ft 2"). This is available as a manual hinged or hydraulic hinged option. Paired with a 200kg (440lb) hammer, the Series 1i provides plenty of hitting power.
The hydraulically controlled 20° toplink tilt and 20° sidetilt tilt give you precise post placement, while the interchangeable safety post cap system secures the post upright against the mast, giving a single operator easy directional control of the post. Interchangeable post guides handle all common post types and sizes, and the Kinghitter active safety system keeps your day on the fenceline safe and efficient.

The Series 1i 400 is equipped with a 200kg (440lb) hammer, delivering the impact force needed to drive posts through even the toughest ground conditions
The Series 1i 400 features a 4.0m manual hinged mast, giving you the height needed to drive posts up to 3.1 metres (10ft 2") in length
The Series 1i 400 features a manual hinged mast as standard, with a hydraulic hinge available as an upgrade. Simply fold the mast down to reduce the overall machine height to 3.2m. Making transporting the machine around super easy.
The Series 1i 400 uses Kinghitter's Liftram and pulley system, which delivers a 6:1 ratio of ram movement to hammer movement. This means faster cycle times on the fenceline, so you can drive more posts in less time.
The Series 1i 400 runs on just two ½" quick release couplers with no dump line required, making it one of the easiest post drivers to connect and swap between machines.
Kinghitter's active safety system keeps your day on the fenceline safe, but without compromising on efficiency.
The Series 1i 400 is compatible with the Kinghitter Terminator side shift base and skid steer base. Add the Auto-Latch Auger Kit, and you've got a very capable post-driving unit.
The Series 1i 400 is fitted with a custom-built Italian valve bank, engineered for smooth and responsive hydraulic control.
The Series 1i 400 features adjustable height feet, allowing you to level the machine on uneven ground and increase the height of the post rammer mast.
The Series 1i 400 features an interchangeable safety post cap system that secures the post upright against the mast, giving a single operator easy control over the post direction. The interchangeable post plates suit different post types and sizes (timber, steel, etc.)

You'll also see the impact zone guard for safer post driving and the bolt-on shroud system for different post shapes. As the post is driven into the ground, the top gets lower and the impact zone moves. Kinghitter's guard mounts to the Safety Postcap and travels with the strike zone, protecting the operator over the hammer's full stroke.

The Cable System | Feature Highlight
The Series 1i post driver uses Kinghitter’s proven rope & pulley lift system, delivering a true 6:1 lift ratio—every 100 mm of ram stroke lifts the hammer 600 mm. This system creates a faster post rammer hammer cycle, a longer free-fall stroke, and powerful driving force for tall, hard-set posts. The lift ram on the post banger is fully isolated from shock and vibration, reducing heat, minimising seal wear, and extending long-term reliability.
Kinghitter’s next-generation hydraulic lift ram and cable system also improves overall machine efficiency. The double-acting hydraulic lift ram design reduces oil temperature and lowers strain on your tractor pump, keeping your hydraulic system running cooler and more efficiently. Cable life is maximised through high-grade wire rope, modern pulley geometry, and reduced cable whip.
